This week the beavers went on a Chalk Chase around North Leigh.
We split the Colony into three groups and each group took it in turns to be the chalkers, where they had a map to follow and marked their route as they went along. The other two groups had to be the chasers, where they waited a little while before following the chalkers’ route.
It was great fun and we got to see parts of North Leigh that some of us had not seen before! There were plenty of chalk arrows facing in different directions as an attempt to throw the chasers off the trail and each group hid at the end of their route to surprise the chasers!
Well done beavers, you were great as both chalkers and chasers! A big thank you to Hedgehog for organising the evening and for setting the routes.
All we need now is some rain to clear up the arrows on the pavements!
