Beavers – Visit the Leys

This week, the beavers went to the Leys in Witney to finish off (for most of us) our Disability Awareness badge.

We played boules in the shade of the trees, then went to see how the newly built Courtside building had been made accessible. We looked at all the ways that it is easy to access for wheelchairs. We played a game about the various guide and therapy dogs and then had an ice cream or drink in the air conditioned Courtside Café before finishing with a game of duck duck goose.

A big thank you to Hedgehog and Eagle for organising the evening and to all the parents who came along to help.

Also a big thank you to Courtside for allowing us to look around the complex.
