Duck Race 2019

This year’s duck race is on Sunday 14th July! Here’s all the information you need to know:

What is a Duck Race?
We float about 1700 plastic ducks along the river to see which duck will reach the finish line first

What are the prizes?
The prizes for the winning ducks are as follows:
1st – £115 2nd – £75 3rd – £25

How to I participate?
You can buy a duck by fill in the sales sheets handed out to the North Leigh Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts
Ducks cost £2 per duck, or 3 for £5, or 8 for £10

When is the Duck Race?
It’s on Sunday 14th July at 1pm

Where is it?
It will be held in the same place as previous years (The River Evenlode between Combe and East End) – the maps below show the exact location, and it is well sign-posted on the day of the event

PLEASE NOTE, THERE WILL BE NO STALLS/BBQ/FACILITIES AT THE DUCK RACE THIS YEAR

You’re more than welcome to come along with a picnic and watch the ducks being released at 1pm, it’d be lovely to see lots of you there!
