Although the weather could have been better, Group Day this year was great fun!
Everyone had a go at two of the Youlbury activities, including climbing, abseiling, 3G swing, archery, tomahawk throwing, and crate stacking!
After lunch, we then had bases run by our leaders and parent helpers, including making fires, team work games, first aid, and Giant Jenga.
We had a lovely dinner of hotdogs and burgers, but it had poured down with rain all day, so we decided to end the day slightly earlier and didn’t have a chance for a campfire.
We’re looking forward to next year’s Group Day at Brownsea Island, hope to see you there!
P.S. SAVE THE DATE – We’re camping at Brownsea Island to mark 100 years of the North Leigh Scout Group, so don’t forget to let your section leader know if you can make it!
