This week the Woodland Bevers learnt about Remembrance. Thank you to Eagle for organising the session.
We painted some poppies, then watched a short video about Remembrance. Then, with our Remembrance Parade approaching, we practiced some marching. We learnt to stand to attention, to quick march, to wheel and to halt. There is a short video below of us marching and this is, I hope, one of the few times that the beavers will hear me shout.
We then cut out some leaves and wrote our names on them before completing our wreaths. Well done beavers, they look great!
We were very pleased that they ended up being laid at the War Memorial as part of the Remembrance Service.
There are some photos below from our evening and of our wreaths at the War Memorial.
