This week, the beavers have been decorating their lodge flags and making a time capsule.
We started with a few games of Giants, Wizards and Elves, which a bit like a large, team version of Rock, Paper, Scissors.
After our games, we got down to the business of decorating our lodge flags. Each lodge did a great job, as you can see in the following pictures.
We are thinking of ways that we can bring the lodge flags into our weekly sessions.
As well as decorating the lodge flags, we took a sensible and a silly photo of each lodge, and each beaver filled in the following questionnaire. Along with a few other things, these will all go in our time capsule.
We have beavers who want to be footballers, a police officer, to drive a train, to be a vet, to be the Pope, to be a doctor, to be a builder, to be a horse rider, to be a gamer, to be a karate leader, to be a dancer, to be a teacher and a mother, no idea (a blind ruminant?), to be a singer, to be in a band playing guitar, to be a traveller, to be an astronaut, to be a lion, to be a beaver leader and what appears to be a salad tester.
We have beavers who like monkeys, red kites, sharks, their own pets, fleas, hedgehogs, tigers, giraffes, turtles, black mambas, elephants, pigs, koalas, komodo dragons, dogs, dolphins and beavers.
We have beavers who like chocolate (many), sweets, grapes, pasta, chocolate, pizza (many), s’mores, strawberry laces, lasagne, chocolate covered marshmallows, donuts, soggies, toast, chicken and chorizo.
We have beavers who like to play football, made up games, Fortnite (many), hide and seek, Minecraft, Roblox (many), mermaids, Labyrinth, chess, splat, Jenga, jumanji, snap and chase the lady.
