Beavers – Disability Awareness

The Beavers have been working on their Disability Awareness badge. We watched a video to learn about what a disability is, then we learnt about some of the disability aids that are used, including the many different roles that dogs perform.

A special thank you to Hedgehog who taught us how to sign and sing Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer. The beavers were really engaged and had great fun learning the sign language and singing the song. It was lovely that some of our parents were able to come along and see the performance. There is a video of the performance below.
