The idea behind Geocaching is to have individuals and organisations set up caches all over the world and to share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards and we also record our finds both at the cache and on the internet.
Each of our 4 lodges located one of the 4 caches shown on the following map (the smiley faces). They were all quite tricky to find!
A big thank you to Bagheera (from Kestrel Cubs) and to all our parent helpers for coming along and doing a great job of keeping the colony safe.
