3 Beavers and 11 Cubs took part in the annual village litter pick – one group looked for litter along Common Road, whilst the other group tackled Windmill Road.
We hoped that we wouldn’t find too much litter, but the Beavers and Cubs did a good job finding the litter that was there. Disappointingly, between the two groups, we found nearly 600 cigarette butts!
Once we had finished, we had some fun in the park. It was great to have so many young people participating, and we’d love to have more next year!
